- 1Histograms3 marks
A histogram has two bars: one 5 units wide with frequency density 2.5, one 5 units wide with density 3. How many values in total?
- 2Bounds3 marks
x = 91 and y = 55, each correct to the nearest whole number. Work out the upper bound of x - y.
- 3Proof2 marks
In an algebraic proof, how would you write three consecutive even numbers in terms of an integer n?
- 4Velocity Time Graphs2 marks
On a velocity-time graph a car speeds up in a straight line from 3 m/s to 10.5 m/s over 5 seconds. Work out the acceleration.
- 5Perpendicular Lines and the equation of a tangent3 marks
The point (10, 24) lies on the circle x^2 + y^2 = 676. Work out the gradient of the tangent to the circle at that point.
