f(x) = 6x + 9. Work out the inverse function f^-1(x).
- 3Direct and Inverse Proportion Depth3 marks
y is inversely proportional to x^2. When x = 4, y = 100. Work out y when x = 5.
- 4Finding the Area of Any Triangle3 marks
A triangle has sides of 11 cm and 12 cm and an area of 57.16 cm^2. Work out the acute angle between those two sides, to the nearest degree.
- 5Probability Equation Questions3 marks
A bag holds 9 counters, r of them red. Two are taken without replacement and P(both red) = 7/12. Work out r.
