- 1Histograms3 marks
A histogram has two bars: one 10 units wide with frequency density 0.4, one 5 units wide with density 3.5. How many values in total?
- 2Bounds3 marks
x = 193 and y = 35, each correct to the nearest whole number. Work out the upper bound of x - y.
- 3Transforming Graphs y=f(x)3 marks
The point (5, 4) lies on y = f(x). Write down its image on y = -f(x).
- 4Direct and Inverse Proportion Depth3 marks
y is directly proportional to x^2. When x = 3, y = 36. Work out the positive value of x when y = 100.
- 5Vectors Proof Questions3 marks
In a vector proof you find that vector PQ = 4a - b and vector RS = 16a - 4b. What does this show about PQ and RS?
