- 1Bounds3 marks
A block has mass 520 g (to the nearest 10 g) and volume 3 cm^3 (to the nearest cm^3). Work out the upper bound of its density, to 2 decimal places.
- 2Iteration3 marks
Use the iteration x(n+1) = cube root of (2x(n) + 8) with x(0) = 4. Work out x(1) to 3 decimal places.
- 3Direct and Inverse Proportion Depth3 marks
y is directly proportional to sqrt(x). When x = 9, y = 6. Work out y when x = 81.
- 4Finding the Area of Any Triangle3 marks
A triangle has sides of 10 cm and 8 cm and an area of 40.00 cm^2. Work out the acute angle between those two sides, to the nearest degree.
- 5Probability Equation Questions3 marks
