- 1Histograms3 marks
A histogram has two bars: one 10 units wide with frequency density 1.2, one 25 units wide with density 0.8. How many values in total?
- 2Bounds3 marks
A car covers 800 m (to the nearest 10 m) in 9 s (to the nearest second). Work out the lower bound of its speed, to 2 decimal places.
- 3Iteration3 marks
Use the iteration x(n+1) = cube root of (3x(n) + 7) with x(0) = 1. Work out x(1) to 3 decimal places.
- 4Velocity Time Graphs2 marks
On a velocity-time graph a car speeds up in a straight line from 6 m/s to 18 m/s over 4 seconds. Work out the acceleration.
- 5Proof of the Circle Theorems2 marks
In a circle theorem proof, a step uses the fact that the exterior angle of a cyclic quadrilateral is being found. State the reason being quoted.
