x = 185 and y = 6, each correct to the nearest whole number. Work out the upper bound of x - y.
- 4The Nth Term of a Quadratic Sequence2 marks
A quadratic sequence starts 1, 13, 31, 55. Work out the second difference, and the coefficient of n^2.
- 5Direct and Inverse Proportion Depth3 marks
y is inversely proportional to x^2. When x = 5, y = 144. Work out y when x = 6.
