A bag holds 7 counters, r of them red. Two are taken without replacement and P(both red) = 1/21. Work out r.
- 4Histograms3 marks
On a histogram the bar for 0 < x <= 5 has a frequency density of 3.5. How many values are in that class?
- 5Bounds3 marks
x = 40 and y = 30, each correct to the nearest whole number. Work out the upper bound of x - y.
