y is directly proportional to sqrt(x). When x = 25, y = 15. Work out y when x = 49.

A triangle has sides 9 cm, 8 cm and 12 cm. Work out the angle opposite the 9 cm side, to 1 decimal place.

A bag holds 3 red and n blue counters. The probability of taking a red is 3/11. Work out n.
