Solve x^2 + y^2 = 289 and y = x + 7 simultaneously.
- 3Direct and Inverse Proportion Depth3 marks
y is directly proportional to x^3. When x = 4, y = 320. Work out y when x = 3.
- 4Finding the Area of Any Triangle3 marks
A triangle has sides of 7 cm and 14 cm and an area of 34.65 cm^2. Work out the acute angle between those two sides, to the nearest degree.
- 5Probability Equation Questions3 marks
A bag holds 7 counters, r of them red. Two are taken without replacement and P(both red) = 10/21. Work out r.
