- 1Histograms3 marks
A histogram has two bars: one 10 units wide with frequency density 0.4, one 25 units wide with density 1.4. How many values in total?
- 2Bounds3 marks
A block has mass 260 g (to the nearest 10 g) and volume 24 cm^3 (to the nearest cm^3). Work out the upper bound of its density, to 2 decimal places.
- 3Iteration3 marks
Use the iteration x(n+1) = cube root of (12x(n) + 9) with x(0) = 1. Work out x(1) to 3 decimal places.
- 4Velocity Time Graphs2 marks
On a velocity-time graph a car speeds up in a straight line from 5 m/s to 45 m/s over 20 seconds. Work out the acceleration.
- 53d Pythagoras and Trigonometry3 marks
A cuboid measures 6 cm by 7 cm by 5 cm tall. Work out the angle between its longest internal diagonal and the base, to 1 decimal place.
