x = 102 and y = 58, each correct to the nearest whole number. Work out the upper bound of x - y.
- 4Inverse and Composite Functions3 marks
f(x) = 2x - 1 and g(x) = 4x - 9. Work out fg(6).
- 5Direct and Inverse Proportion Depth3 marks
y is directly proportional to x^3. When x = 3, y = 108. Work out y when x = 5.
