Solve x^2 + y^2 = 169 and y = x - 7 simultaneously.
- 4Velocity Time Graphs2 marks
On a velocity-time graph a car speeds up in a straight line from 8 m/s to 68 m/s over 20 seconds. Work out the acceleration.
- 5Perpendicular Lines and the equation of a tangent3 marks
The point (8, 15) lies on the circle x^2 + y^2 = 289. Work out the gradient of the tangent to the circle at that point.
