A histogram has two bars: one 10 units wide with frequency density 2.5, one 20 units wide with density 3.5. How many values in total?

x = 200 and y = 36, each correct to the nearest whole number. Work out the upper bound of x - y.
- 3Inverse and Composite Functions3 marks
f(x) = 4x + 5 and g(x) = 5x - 8. Work out fg(5).
- 4Direct and Inverse Proportion Depth3 marks
y is directly proportional to x^2. When x = 5, y = 175. Work out the positive value of x when y = 175.
- 5Perpendicular Lines and the equation of a tangent3 marks
The point (5, 12) lies on the circle x^2 + y^2 = 169. Work out the gradient of the tangent to the circle at that point.
