Use the iteration x(n+1) = cube root of (8x(n) + 4) with x(0) = 3. Work out x(1) to 3 decimal places.
- 4Velocity Time Graphs3 marks
A cyclist speeds up steadily from 3 m/s to 12 m/s over 4 seconds. Use the area under the velocity-time graph to find the distance travelled.
- 53d Pythagoras and Trigonometry3 marks
A cuboid measures 15 cm by 11 cm by 4 cm. Work out the length of the longest diagonal inside it, to 1 decimal place.
