A quadratic sequence starts 1, 8, 17, 28. Work out the second difference, and the coefficient of n^2.

y is inversely proportional to x^2. When x = 3, y = 64. Work out y when x = 4.

In triangle ABC, angle A is 55°, side a is 19 cm and side b is 4 cm. Work out the acute angle B, to 1 decimal place.
- 5Conditional Probability3 marks
A bag holds 4 red and 10 blue counters. Two are taken without replacement. Given the first was red, what is the probability the second is blue?
