- 1Histograms3 marks
A histogram has two bars: one 20 units wide with frequency density 1.5, one 25 units wide with density 0.6. How many values in total?
- 2Bounds3 marks
x = 85 and y = 20, each correct to the nearest whole number. Work out the upper bound of x - y.
- 3Proof3 marks
Prove that the sum of 4 consecutive integers is always a multiple of 2. State the simplified sum you would use.
- 4Direct and Inverse Proportion Depth3 marks
y is directly proportional to x^2. When x = 5, y = 150. Work out the positive value of x when y = 216.
- 53d Pythagoras and Trigonometry3 marks
A cuboid measures 10 cm by 5 cm by 14 cm tall. Work out the angle between its longest internal diagonal and the base, to 1 decimal place.
