- 1Histograms3 marks
A histogram has two bars: one 5 units wide with frequency density 2, one 25 units wide with density 3. How many values in total?
- 2Surds3 marks
Expand and simplify (7 + sqrt(6))(7 - sqrt(6)).
- 3Inverse and Composite Functions3 marks
f(x) = 8x - 1. Work out the inverse function f^-1(x).
- 4Direct and Inverse Proportion Depth3 marks
y is directly proportional to x^2. When x = 3, y = 81. Work out the positive value of x when y = 81.
- 5Proof of the Circle Theorems2 marks
In a circle theorem proof, a step uses the fact that the angle in a semicircle is being proved. State the reason being quoted.
