- 1Histograms3 marks
A histogram has two bars: one 20 units wide with frequency density 1.5, one 20 units wide with density 3.5. How many values in total?
- 2Bounds3 marks
A car covers 250 m (to the nearest 10 m) in 6 s (to the nearest second). Work out the lower bound of its speed, to 2 decimal places.
- 3Completing the Square3 marks
Write x^2 - 4x + 6 in the form (x + a)^2 + b.
- 4Velocity Time Graphs2 marks
On a velocity-time graph a car speeds up in a straight line from 8 m/s to 20 m/s over 8 seconds. Work out the acceleration.
- 5Proof of the Circle Theorems2 marks
In a circle theorem proof, a step uses the fact that the exterior angle of a cyclic quadrilateral is being found. State the reason being quoted.
