A histogram has four 10-wide classes from 0, with frequency densities 0.5, 2, 1, 3. Which class contains the median?

x = 33 and y = 5, each correct to the nearest whole number. Work out the upper bound of x - y.
- 4Iteration3 marks
Use the iteration x(n+1) = cube root of (9x(n) + 9) with x(0) = 3. Work out x(1) to 3 decimal places.
- 5Direct and Inverse Proportion Depth3 marks
y is directly proportional to sqrt(x). When x = 36, y = 54. Work out y when x = 9.
