- 1Histograms2 marks
On a histogram, a 4-wide bar and a 12-wide bar have the same frequency density of 1.5. How many more values are in the wider class?
- 2Bounds3 marks
A rectangle is 15 cm by 18 cm, each correct to the nearest cm. Work out the upper bound of its area.
- 3Transforming Graphs y=f(x)3 marks
The point (6, 4) lies on y = f(x). Write down its image on y = f(x - 4).
- 4Velocity Time Graphs3 marks
A tram runs at 13 m/s for 10 s, then slows steadily to rest over 6 s. Work out its average speed for the whole journey, to 2 decimal places.
- 5Proof of the Circle Theorems2 marks
In a circle theorem proof, a step uses the fact that the exterior angle of a cyclic quadrilateral is being found. State the reason being quoted.
