- 1Histograms3 marks
A histogram has two bars: one 5 units wide with frequency density 2.5, one 25 units wide with density 0.6. How many values in total?
- 2Surds3 marks
Simplify sqrt(45) + sqrt(80), giving your answer in the form a sqrt(b).
- 3Completing the Square3 marks
Work out the coordinates of the turning point of y = x^2 + 12x - 9.
- 4Direct and Inverse Proportion Depth3 marks
y is directly proportional to x^2. When x = 3, y = 27. Work out the positive value of x when y = 75.
- 5Vectors Proof Questions3 marks
In a vector proof you find that vector PQ = 6a - 3b and vector RS = 24a - 12b. What does this show about PQ and RS?
