- 1Conditional Probability3 marks
A bag holds 3 red, 6 blue and 2 green counters. Two are taken without replacement. Given neither is green, what is the probability both are red?
- 2Histograms3 marks
A histogram has four 10-wide classes from 0, with frequency densities 2, 1, 0.5, 3. Which class contains the median?
- 3Bounds3 marks
A rectangle is 17 cm by 18 cm, each correct to the nearest cm. Work out the upper bound of its area.
- 4Proof3 marks
Prove that the sum of 4 consecutive integers is always a multiple of 2. State the simplified sum you would use.
- 5Direct and Inverse Proportion Depth3 marks
