- 1Proof of the Circle Theorems2 marks
In a circle theorem proof, a step uses the fact that the alternate segment theorem is being proved. State the reason being quoted.
- 2Probability Equation Questions3 marks
A bag holds 12 counters, r of them red. Two are taken without replacement and P(both red) = 15/22. Work out r.
- 3Histograms3 marks
A histogram has two bars: one 5 units wide with frequency density 2.5, one 10 units wide with density 0.6. How many values in total?
- 4Bounds3 marks
A car covers 270 m (to the nearest 10 m) in 6 s (to the nearest second). Work out the lower bound of its speed, to 2 decimal places.
- 5Transforming Graphs y=f(x)3 marks
The point (0, 3) lies on y = f(x). Write down its image on y = f(x - 3).
