- 1Bounds3 marks
x = 60 and y = 21, each correct to the nearest whole number. Work out the upper bound of x - y.
- 2Proof3 marks
Prove that the sum of 9 consecutive integers is always a multiple of 9. State the simplified sum you would use.
- 3Direct and Inverse Proportion Depth3 marks
y is directly proportional to x^3. When x = 3, y = 54. Work out y when x = 5.
- 4The Cosine Rule3 marks
A triangle has sides 16 cm, 6 cm and 12 cm. Work out the angle opposite the 16 cm side, to 1 decimal place.
- 5Probability Equation Questions3 marks
