f(x) = 2x + 7. Work out the inverse function f^-1(x).

A cyclist speeds up steadily from 7 m/s to 15 m/s over 12 seconds. Use the area under the velocity-time graph to find the distance travelled.
- 5Perpendicular Lines and the equation of a tangent3 marks
The point (7, 24) lies on the circle x^2 + y^2 = 625. Work out the gradient of the tangent to the circle at that point.
