- 1Histograms3 marks
A histogram has two bars: one 5 units wide with frequency density 1.5, one 25 units wide with density 0.6. How many values in total?
- 2Bounds3 marks
x = 106 and y = 51, each correct to the nearest whole number. Work out the upper bound of x - y.
- 3Transforming Graphs y=f(x)3 marks
The point (0, -2) lies on y = f(x). Write down its image on y = f(x) - 5.
- 4Velocity Time Graphs2 marks
On a velocity-time graph a car speeds up in a straight line from 1 m/s to 3 m/s over 4 seconds. Work out the acceleration.
- 5Proof of the Circle Theorems2 marks
In a circle theorem proof, a step uses the fact that a tangent meets a radius at the point of contact. State the reason being quoted.
