A quadratic sequence starts 15, 34, 63, 102. Work out the second difference, and the coefficient of n^2.
- 4Direct and Inverse Proportion Depth3 marks
y is directly proportional to x^2. When x = 5, y = 200. Work out the positive value of x when y = 512.
- 53d Pythagoras and Trigonometry3 marks
A cuboid measures 8 cm by 11 cm by 11 cm tall. Work out the angle between its longest internal diagonal and the base, to 1 decimal place.
