- 1Histograms3 marks
A histogram has two bars: one 20 units wide with frequency density 2.5, one 25 units wide with density 0.6. How many values in total?
- 2Bounds3 marks
A car covers 690 m (to the nearest 10 m) in 4 s (to the nearest second). Work out the lower bound of its speed, to 2 decimal places.
- 3The Nth Term of a Quadratic Sequence3 marks
Work out the nth term of the quadratic sequence -4, 1, 12, 29, ...
- 4Direct and Inverse Proportion Depth3 marks
y is directly proportional to x^2. When x = 2, y = 20. Work out the positive value of x when y = 80.
- 5Proof of the Circle Theorems2 marks
In a circle theorem proof, a step uses the fact that the three angles of triangle OAB are being summed. State the reason being quoted.
