- 1Histograms3 marks
A histogram has two bars: one 5 units wide with frequency density 1.2, one 5 units wide with density 0.6. How many values in total?
- 2Bounds3 marks
A rectangle is 28 cm by 7 cm, each correct to the nearest cm. Work out the upper bound of its area.
- 3Proof2 marks
In an algebraic proof, how would you write the next even number after 2n in terms of an integer n?
- 4Velocity Time Graphs2 marks
On a velocity-time graph a car speeds up in a straight line from 3 m/s to 43 m/s over 20 seconds. Work out the acceleration.
- 5Proof of the Circle Theorems2 marks
In a circle theorem proof, a step uses the fact that a triangle is drawn from the ends of a diameter to a point on the circle. State the reason being quoted.
