A histogram has two bars: one 10 units wide with frequency density 0.4, one 10 units wide with density 1.4. How many values in total?

A car covers 420 m (to the nearest 10 m) in 4 s (to the nearest second). Work out the lower bound of its speed, to 2 decimal places.
- 3Inverse and Composite Functions3 marks
f(x) = 2x + 11. Work out the inverse function f^-1(x).
- 4Velocity Time Graphs2 marks
On a velocity-time graph a car speeds up in a straight line from 6 m/s to 11 m/s over 10 seconds. Work out the acceleration.
- 5Perpendicular Lines and the equation of a tangent3 marks
The point (6, 8) lies on the circle x^2 + y^2 = 100. Work out the gradient of the tangent to the circle at that point.
