- 1Histograms3 marks
A histogram has two bars: one 20 units wide with frequency density 2, one 10 units wide with density 3. How many values in total?
- 2Bounds3 marks
A rectangle is 10 cm by 30 cm, each correct to the nearest cm. Work out the upper bound of its area.
- 3Algebraic Fractions3 marks
Write 2/(x - 1) + 4/(x - 4) as a single fraction.
- 4Direct and Inverse Proportion Depth3 marks
y is directly proportional to x^2. When x = 2, y = 20. Work out the positive value of x when y = 125.
- 5Proof of the Circle Theorems2 marks
In a circle theorem proof, a step uses the fact that a radius is drawn to the midpoint of a chord. State the reason being quoted.
