- 1Histograms3 marks
A histogram has two bars: one 20 units wide with frequency density 2, one 10 units wide with density 3. How many values in total?
- 2Surds3 marks
Simplify sqrt(50) + sqrt(8), giving your answer in the form a sqrt(b).
- 3Transforming Graphs y=f(x)3 marks
The point (-2, 3) lies on y = f(x). Write down its image on y = -f(x).
- 4Velocity Time Graphs2 marks
On a velocity-time graph a car speeds up in a straight line from 8 m/s to 28 m/s over 8 seconds. Work out the acceleration.
- 5Vectors Proof Questions3 marks
In a vector proof you find that vector PQ = 6a - 4b and vector RS = 24a - 16b. What does this show about PQ and RS?
