- 1Histograms3 marks
A histogram has two bars: one 10 units wide with frequency density 1.5, one 5 units wide with density 3.5. How many values in total?
- 2Bounds3 marks
x = 166 and y = 134, each correct to the nearest whole number. Work out the upper bound of x - y.
- 3The Nth Term of a Quadratic Sequence2 marks
A quadratic sequence starts 5, 16, 35, 62. Work out the second difference, and the coefficient of n^2.
- 4Velocity Time Graphs2 marks
On a velocity-time graph a car speeds up in a straight line from 3 m/s to 18 m/s over 10 seconds. Work out the acceleration.
- 5Proof of the Circle Theorems2 marks
In a circle theorem proof, a step uses the fact that the angle in a semicircle is being proved. State the reason being quoted.
