x = 44 and y = 10, each correct to the nearest whole number. Work out the upper bound of x - y.
- 4The Nth Term of a Quadratic Sequence2 marks
A quadratic sequence starts 1, 6, 15, 28. Work out the second difference, and the coefficient of n^2.
- 5Direct and Inverse Proportion Depth3 marks
y is directly proportional to sqrt(x). When x = 25, y = 10. Work out y when x = 36.
