- 1Direct and Inverse Proportion Depth3 marks
y is directly proportional to x^3. When x = 2, y = 40. Work out y when x = 4.
- 2Finding the Area of Any Triangle3 marks
A triangle has sides of 13 cm and 10 cm and an area of 56.29 cm^2. Work out the acute angle between those two sides, to the nearest degree.
- 3Probability Equation Questions3 marks
A bag holds 8 counters, r of them red. Two are taken without replacement and P(both red) = 5/14. Work out r.
- 4Histograms3 marks
On a histogram the bar for 50 < x <= 60 has a frequency density of 3.5. How many values are in that class?
- 5Bounds3 marks
A rectangle is 8 cm by 20 cm, each correct to the nearest cm. Work out the upper bound of its area.
