A block has mass 400 g (to the nearest 10 g) and volume 22 cm^3 (to the nearest cm^3). Work out the upper bound of its density, to 2 decimal places.

Write x^2 + 16x - 1 in the form (x + a)^2 + b.
- 3Direct and Inverse Proportion Depth3 marks
y is directly proportional to x^3. When x = 3, y = 135. Work out y when x = 2.
- 4Finding the Area of Any Triangle3 marks
A triangle has sides of 8 cm and 7 cm and an area of 19.80 cm^2. Work out the acute angle between those two sides, to the nearest degree.
- 5Probability Equation Questions3 marks
A bag holds 12 counters, r of them red. Two are taken without replacement and P(both red) = 1/11. Work out r.
