Expand and simplify (4 + sqrt(5))(4 - sqrt(5)).
- 4Iteration3 marks
Use the iteration x(n+1) = cube root of (8x(n) + 6) with x(0) = 2. Work out x(1) to 3 decimal places.
- 5Direct and Inverse Proportion Depth3 marks
y is directly proportional to sqrt(x). When x = 16, y = 8. Work out y when x = 64.
