Simplify sqrt(50) + sqrt(72), giving your answer in the form a sqrt(b).

Use the iteration x(n+1) = cube root of (6x(n) + 4) with x(0) = 2. Work out x(1) to 3 decimal places.
- 3Direct and Inverse Proportion Depth3 marks
y is directly proportional to x^3. When x = 2, y = 32. Work out y when x = 4.
- 4Finding the Area of Any Triangle3 marks
A triangle has sides of 11 cm and 15 cm and an area of 58.34 cm^2. Work out the acute angle between those two sides, to the nearest degree.
- 5Probability Equation Questions3 marks
A bag holds 12 counters, r of them red. Two are taken without replacement and P(both red) = 1/22. Work out r.
