A car covers 150 m (to the nearest 10 m) in 8 s (to the nearest second). Work out the lower bound of its speed, to 2 decimal places.
- 4Inverse and Composite Functions3 marks
f(x) = 4x - 2 and g(x) = 4x - 1. Work out fg(6).
- 5Direct and Inverse Proportion Depth3 marks
y is inversely proportional to x^2. When x = 4, y = 100. Work out y when x = 5.
