A block has mass 500 g (to the nearest 10 g) and volume 9 cm^3 (to the nearest cm^3). Work out the upper bound of its density, to 2 decimal places.

Use the iteration x(n+1) = cube root of (6x(n) + 9) with x(0) = 2. Work out x(1) to 3 decimal places.
- 3Direct and Inverse Proportion Depth3 marks
y is directly proportional to sqrt(x). When x = 25, y = 15. Work out y when x = 4.
- 4The Cosine Rule3 marks
A triangle has sides 15 cm, 13 cm and 10 cm. Work out the angle opposite the 15 cm side, to 1 decimal place.
- 5Probability Equation Questions3 marks
A bag holds 3 red and n blue counters. The probability of taking a red is 3/5. Work out n.
