On a histogram the bar for 0 < x <= 10 has a frequency density of 1.2. How many values are in that class?

x = 63 and y = 17, each correct to the nearest whole number. Work out the upper bound of x - y.
- 4Iteration3 marks
Use the iteration x(n+1) = cube root of (6x(n) + 5) with x(0) = 1. Work out x(1) to 3 decimal places.
- 5Direct and Inverse Proportion Depth3 marks
y is directly proportional to x^3. When x = 4, y = 384. Work out y when x = 2.
