- 2Rearranging Harder Formulae3 marks
Make x the subject of 6x + 2 = y(x + 2).
- 3Direct and Inverse Proportion Depth3 marks
y is directly proportional to sqrt(x). When x = 49, y = 56. Work out y when x = 36.
- 4The Cosine Rule3 marks
A triangle has sides of 15 cm and 15 cm with an angle of 58° between them. Work out the third side, to 1 decimal place.
