- 1Histograms3 marks
A histogram has two bars: one 5 units wide with frequency density 1.5, one 10 units wide with density 0.6. How many values in total?
- 2Bounds3 marks
x = 43 and y = 8, each correct to the nearest whole number. Work out the upper bound of x - y.
- 3The Nth Term of a Quadratic Sequence2 marks
A quadratic sequence starts 12, 30, 58, 96. Work out the second difference, and the coefficient of n^2.
- 4Direct and Inverse Proportion Depth3 marks
y is directly proportional to x^2. When x = 5, y = 150. Work out the positive value of x when y = 216.
- 53d Pythagoras and Trigonometry3 marks
