Use the iteration x(n+1) = cube root of (9x(n) + 6) with x(0) = 3. Work out x(1) to 3 decimal places.
- 3Direct and Inverse Proportion Depth3 marks
y is directly proportional to x^3. When x = 2, y = 32. Work out y when x = 3.
- 4Vectors Proof Questions3 marks
OACB is a parallelogram with vector OA = p and vector OB = q. M is the midpoint. Write vector OM in terms of p and q.
- 5Probability Equation Questions3 marks
The probability of winning a game is 4/5. A player expects 12 wins. How many games did they play?
