A histogram has four 20-wide classes from 0, with frequency densities 0.5, 1, 2, 3. Which class contains the median?

x = 146 and y = 125, each correct to the nearest whole number. Work out the upper bound of x - y.
- 4Iteration3 marks
Use the iteration x(n+1) = cube root of (9x(n) + 7) with x(0) = 2. Work out x(1) to 3 decimal places.
- 5Direct and Inverse Proportion Depth3 marks
y is inversely proportional to x^2. When x = 3, y = 48. Work out y when x = 4.
