x = 101 and y = 25, each correct to the nearest whole number. Work out the upper bound of x - y.
- 4Inverse and Composite Functions3 marks
f(x) = 2x + 8. Work out the inverse function f^-1(x).
- 5Direct and Inverse Proportion Depth3 marks
y is directly proportional to x^3. When x = 2, y = 32. Work out y when x = 5.
