A bag holds 5 counters, r of them red. Two are taken without replacement and P(both red) = 3/10. Work out r.
- 4Histograms3 marks
On a histogram the bar for 60 < x <= 80 has a frequency density of 1.5. How many values are in that class?
- 5Bounds3 marks
A rectangle is 5 cm by 22 cm, each correct to the nearest cm. Work out the upper bound of its area.
