The point (6, 5) lies on y = f(x). Write down its image on y = f(-x).
- 3Direct and Inverse Proportion Depth3 marks
y is directly proportional to x^3. When x = 3, y = 135. Work out y when x = 2.
- 4Finding the Area of Any Triangle3 marks
A triangle has sides of 8 cm and 16 cm and an area of 45.25 cm^2. Work out the acute angle between those two sides, to the nearest degree.
- 5Probability Equation Questions3 marks
A bag holds 8 counters, r of them red. Two are taken without replacement and P(both red) = 3/14. Work out r.
