- 1Histograms2 marks
On a histogram, a 5-wide bar and a 20-wide bar have the same frequency density of 2. How many more values are in the wider class?
- 2Bounds3 marks
A block has mass 200 g (to the nearest 10 g) and volume 19 cm^3 (to the nearest cm^3). Work out the upper bound of its density, to 2 decimal places.
- 3Proof3 marks
Prove that the sum of 5 consecutive integers is always a multiple of 5. State the simplified sum you would use.
- 4Velocity Time Graphs3 marks
A tram runs at 18 m/s for 20 s, then slows steadily to rest over 6 s. Work out its average speed for the whole journey, to 2 decimal places.
- 5Proof of the Circle Theorems2 marks
In a circle theorem proof, a step uses the fact that the alternate segment theorem is being proved. State the reason being quoted.
