A block has mass 560 g (to the nearest 10 g) and volume 12 cm^3 (to the nearest cm^3). Work out the upper bound of its density, to 2 decimal places.
- 2Transforming Graphs y=f(x)3 marks
The point (-2, -6) lies on y = f(x). Write down its image on y = f(x - 4).
- 3Direct and Inverse Proportion Depth3 marks
y is directly proportional to sqrt(x). When x = 9, y = 6. Work out y when x = 81.
- 4Finding the Area of Any Triangle3 marks
A triangle has sides of 11 cm and 7 cm and an area of 33.34 cm^2. Work out the acute angle between those two sides, to the nearest degree.
- 5Probability Equation Questions3 marks
A bag holds 5 counters, r of them red. Two are taken without replacement and P(both red) = 1/10. Work out r.
